Not an ideal start of ODI series for this year as they ranked 2nd in the ICC rankings while Australian ranked 6th in the ICC rankings.

Not a good start for Australia but they had a few partnerships in between and they scored 93 in the last 10 overs which moved them to 288/5.

As Australians felt this would be good score to defend ,but Indians felt they can easily chase it down.
2nd INNING:Australian seamers bowls beyond the expectations.
They bowled out the 3 batsman in first 4 overs including Dhawan,Virat and Ambati.
Then the whole responsibility just came under the shoulders of Rohit and Dhoni.
They take those pressure and made 137 runs stand till Dhoni got out of a wrong decision.
But the HITMAN's show was on and he played his shots like a one man army.
He made his 22nd ton , but due to lack of help from the other side he chooses to attack every single ball and that turned him down to loose his wicket.
