2nd INNING:As this is a must win game for India, the openers starts well.Captain and Vice captain leading the chase for India after Dhawan's dismissal. Dhawan was looking very fluent and got the hosts off to a great start but behrendorff took his revenge soon.Rohit was consistent and made a good start for the team ,then The captain Virat Kohli achieved 39th ODI hundred.after his wicket ,MS Dhoni took all the responsibility along with Dinesh and played unbreakable partnership of 54 runs and finishes off in his style.This proves that the finisher is alive ,he is reborned.

After a win over Thailand (4-1) and a heartbreaking defeat by UAE(0-2) in the first two games of Group A, India holds 2nd spot on the points table of their group.
After 8 years India qualified for ASIAN CUP and that too is due to the dedication of the indian team and also the supporters who come forward to support them.
Stats shows that India never won against Bahrain,but another fact is that bahrain never faced this indian team.
Bahrain's currently rank is 113 while india's rank is  97.
MATCH RESULT: India eliminated
1st Half:From the first minute, Bahrain team looked so confident and dominant.they kept the pressure on indian side ,though indian defenders ,forward players tried a lot but they niether could made any chance nor they took the ball for a long time. At the end of first half, scores were 0-0 but indians were lagging.
2nd Half:
The beginning again did not become good for the Indian team. Seriously Bahrain had caught the opposition's nerves.Indian goal keeper Gulpreet singh had saved many goals.
But unfortunately Bahrain team got a penalty shoot in the final minute of the game and they got a success in converting it to a goal.

1st and 2nd day mostly subjugated by Indian batting side. After the debutant mayank's half century,the captain Virat Kohli and the Centurion Pujara made a 170 runs stand.
Rohit too made a half century to move the scoreboard to 443/7(declared).

we thought the game will go to the last session of the fifth day but on the third day something unexpected happens,the whole Kangaroo team blowdown to just 153 runs.
Bumrah was the man who took 6 wickets for just 33 runs.

But who knew what is going to happen next,
The team who made 443 runs in first inning only scored around 100 runs in second inning and declare.Australia need 400 runs in fourth inning to win.Australia scored 258 runs in the 2nd inning with 8 wickets down,and India needs just two wickets to create a history.
